FANNIN COUNTY, Ga. – North Georgia high school football team, The Fannin County Rebels, ran out onto the field proudly carrying American flags before their Friday night game.
Supt. Michael Gwatney said the Flags were meant to show support for veterans and active duty military personnel and that the “patriotic display” was organized by the team, coaches and parents.
“It was an awesome and unifying moment for the audiences on both sides of our stadium and reminded us that no matter what team we support, we are all Americans”.
It is great to see American Pride still runs deep within our Great American Communities, our future is looking bright!.
